SUIT YOURSELF FIRST

Not everybody suits you.

We all heard that at some point. I didn’t really resonate with that before. It seemed so narcissistic… Like why am I better than you or why are you better than me? Can we just hang out and share the experiences? Learn from each other?

But now I get it.

It’s not about who’s better, but who’s on which level.

During our journey, called life, we move through levels, depending on how much we expand ourselves, how much we learn and grow. Right? I see that as levels, but maybe your perception is different. Well, although we are all humans, we are the same at some point, but because of the different levels we reach, we can’t speak the same language. We’re not able to understand each other.

There’s nothing wrong with that, everyone’s having the journey they want anyway, but it can be surprising when someone you know for some time just walks away, because ‘you are not the same’. Of course, I’m not the same! I move forward and so should you!

As Einstein said, ‘The thinking that got you into the situation won’t get you out of it’. And it’s true, you have to shift, that’s just what is…

Whenever you try to do something and hang out with someone who’s not, you’ll end up without them. Because you move and they stand still. No other way is possible. Once, and if they decide to move, there’s a chance to catch up later, but if that movement doesn’t happen, you lost them. And the soon you accept that you’ll move faster. There’s no baggage you carry around.

My point is not to discourage you here, haha, no. I just walked this talk over and over, especially when it comes to building your story, your biz, your projects, your life. The ones that feel they’ve done less than you will drop off right away. The others will try to stop you. The third group will probably laugh at you behind your back. But the only one standing is you. At the end of the day, no matter if you succeed in your mission or not, at least you’ve tried and they are standing still.ย

One thing is sure if you give your 100% each day the results must come. Your mission must be completed, even if it doesn’t look like you imagined, the results will be there. You will be exactly where you need to be to get to the next level. Just like right now, where you’re at is your ticket to the next level. Use it wisely ๐Ÿ™‚

And don’t get mad at people who left you along the way. They didn’t really leave you, they just lost you. You stepped into something they weren’t ready for. But here’s the secret – there are million of people just like you, on the same level as you are! Go get them! It’s important to stay around them because you push each other forward. You serve each other equally. And it’s so fun to have such peers around. You can share ideas and get real feedback. Yup, feedback is an important part, and getting it from someone who gets not only you, but what you do, is a valuable tool. There’s no need to hold on to every critic you get, but think about it anyway and proceed with the decision you make.

Not everybody suits you (this is not a narcissistic statement :D), but suit yourself.

When you’re good for yourself, you’re good for others.

Make that cup of tea and think about what lights you up. Think about your next move. Think about what cool thing you can do for yourself now.

Go, do it.

Then do something nice for someone else, too. Light up someone’s day as well.

Now you shine together ๐Ÿ™‚

Sip that tea and go Shine!

So true, that we all exist on selfishness, and it is not to be considered selfish!
You are not strong enough for others if you aren’t strong enough to carry yourself.

    1. Thank you FF ๐Ÿ™‚
It’s not selfish to take care of yourself, ’cause that way we are able to take care of the world around us. Everything starts with us, because each one of us is living our own story, right?

        Correct-a-mundo!
It takes the taste of appreciation to be able to recognize it. It is also important to let go of “yourself”, put aside selfishness and be humble. Selfishness and humility are like cousins who never speak; They come from the same place but rarely want anything to do with one another. When you can make them get along together, then you may be capable of getting along with ANYONE! (especially yourself!)
