Have I told you about the parsley tea tonic?

Since I’ve discovered it I don’t use anything else for my face! I do, ok, occasionally haha, but I always go back to this one. Fast, easy, and homemade tonic my skin enjoys so much.

Basically, a tonic is more important than face cream. I always try to make one by myself, from the herbs I have around. I must say lavender or marigold works nicely as well, but still, parsley became my favorite one.

Parsley is rich in antioxidants, and lots of nutrients that our skin needs, but the after effect it leaves is what I enjoy the most. Refreshing, clean, soft, and moisturizing. What more can I ask for?!

It’s also easy to make, and we don’t even need strict measurements. I change the amount of parsley I use. You can also find what works best for you. A handful is quite enough, but if you add a bit more or less won’t really change anything, so be playful! Just make sure to cut it so it would be easier to work with. Also, don’t need to separate leaves from the stem. I use fresh parsley, but if it’s easier for you to go with dry, then do that.

Boil about 8 oz of water and pour over the herb. Cover it with a lid for about 10 min and then just remove the lid and let it cool completely. After it’s cooled, strain it, and store it in a glass bottle (or jar) in the fridge. It should be good to go for about a week.

I use tonic twice a day, in the morning and before bed. Tonic should always go after the cleaning and before face cream.

But, always remember to make some parsley tea as well. It’s so beneficial when we use it for the inner body as well!

There’s a great blend that we made at Black Rabbit Tea that you can also use for your face, as much as enjoy drinking it 🙂 You can check it out on the link below, it’s called Skin City. In this blend, we have a marigold that is literally Gold for the skin, mixed with cocoa and cinnamon, which is a bomb combination for face daily care routine!

Have a great weekend, and let me know if you try this recipe for yourself!
