It’s been a crazy day because today we celebrate the 2nd birthday of the Black Rabbit Tea brand! WooHoo! Last year was Awesome and this one is Magic! I can’t wait to see what the next one brings!

As many of you who follow me for a long time (here or on social media) know, I started this out of curiosity, out of a desire to work much deeper on something, and out of the urge for freedom. I wanted to prove to myself that no other norm than the one we create has to be respected in order to succeed. No rules, no expectations, no single opinion but the one we, as creators, choose. Here I go, succeeding from day one, climbing my mountain holding to the vision, with every rise and fall that happens along the way… Still shining!

The work is messy, therefore it’s real. I don’t seek perfection, I don’t find it beautiful, I don’t feel it…and I just don’t trust it! There were some brands I purchased from that look so beautiful, but once I get the order everything crumbled… it’s just not what I expected compared to their presentation… the magic was absolutely ruined. And then I ask myself How can we better trust brands? How can we know that what they show off is really what you get? There’s no adequate answer because it really is hard to know. Photos should look professional (which is not required) but I don’t think that we should invest more in the photos than in the product. I will always choose product quality investment over photo shooting. But that is me…

I work closely with my inner associate and we fit wonderfully πŸ˜€ Okay, I do listen…a lot. I listen to my audience and their needs and desires, just have to respect that part. They bring magic to this unique world, they’re a big part of it, but they don’t lead the way…they lead my hunger for it. Once you gain the courage to put your version of the project out there and you keep getting feedback that’s pulling you forward, you can not stop. It becomes much stronger than you.

Many times people asked me, How did you start? And this is the answer, I started just like described above and continue to do so. You pull me forward!

Many wait for the perfect moment, prepare themselves for months, even years, and give up many times before they even start. When all you need is simply to start. Don’t worry, you’ll have the time to give up later many times, that will happen, those moments of burnout, chaos and confusion will strike, that’s the part of the process πŸ™‚ Just make that move. Everything will fall in place eventually, and Always! You will be grateful for all the lessons that come your way. You will be grateful for many moments that you didn’t know will look like that. You will be grateful for many things, I promise you… And for as long as you wait the only thing you will not be grateful for is that damn regret Why I haven’t done this sooner?! But still, every moment is a perfect moment, so don’t wait, grab it as soon as possible.

It was a seriously great ride, these two years with this brand, and we keep going and looking for new adventures. I can tell you a secret…I have two more brands to start on my mind, but will I do it, we’ll see πŸ™‚ I honestly miss working with clay, so maybe I’ll find a way to incorporate that here…We’ll see what time (meaning my mind) brings.

For now, I want to thank every single soul that has been with us. No matter if you came by yesterday or a year ago, or you’re just about to join us, we cherish each one of you the same. We make sure that everybody gets that sweet piece of cake (and tea of course) πŸ™‚ because everyone matters.Β

So, if you are subscribed to the website, or you plan to purchase some tea within the next week, then expect your gifts soon! Because when we celebrate, We Give! The link is at the end of the post. We’re sending gifts to all orders made by the end of this year because with the next one we’re off to some new adventures!

And if you wanna see how we spent our 1st birthday last year, here’s the link to the post;

Now, off to celebration!

Remember to stay cozy and rocking!
